What kind of a car do you drive? What part of the city do you live in? How much money do you make in a year? Do you wear only name-brand clothing?.......does it all matter?......We are faced with these questions almost everyday. Wouldn't it be more HUMANE if we were asked these questions instead; what is your thought process? how do you come up with those ideas? what are your hopes, your dreams? what do you aspire to be? Don't you think those are better questions to ask?
Our society has created gods and idol worship out of materialism and in turn has become nothing but a bunch of consumers. When you are controlled by people with money or/and power then you have no self-worth and guess what? You will die in OBSCURITY!!. This show; THE ILLUSION OF FASHION takes an educational and entertaining look at this. It is part fashion show and part illusion show.
